This is just a quick post to make a couple of things clear regarding the passing of personal information via this forum or indeed anywhere.
I receive many requests to pass email addresses and/or phone numbers between users of the Shetland Webcams public forum. I have to make sure we have received email requests from both parties as our email address is public however this is both time consuming and not something I wish to pursue.
There are times when I have required the use of a temporary email address when testing systems. I will share this in the link below to help those who wish to find a way to establish communication with other forum members. This will allow you to post an email address in public that is temporary and hence will expire minutes later.
Privacy is an extremely important aspect of modern life whilst using the internet. You should aim to protect details such as email addresses and phone numbers or use other Social apps such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Signal etc for communication. I also appreciate that many on this forum have been disillusioend with social media platforms and therefore the alternative options are limited.
I hope you will appreciate why I no longer wish to support this message passing activities but in providing a link to a tool I have used (there are many other similar utlities) you can continue to make contact but in a more secure way.
