The aurora alerts were coming in on Saturday evening, 15th February 2025, however most of Shetland was covered in a thick blanket of cloud.
Burradale Wind Farm had the best view for most of the evening and around 22:28GMT an arc appeared that became quite intense and then very active for around 20 minutes.
As usual, the 4X speed on the player is there for those who are time-pressured…or impatient.
