The early hours of Friday 3rd May were nice and clear however it really is a struggle to get any darkness now. A weak aurora was seen competing with the twilight but nothing to write home about. That said, on a dark winter evening it would have looked great.
Suddenly just when you thought that was that…the quiet arc decided to give us all a surprise…if you were awake that is. We had great views from our new AurorCams so I have posted it here for everyone to enjoy. Nice colours once again.
Remember you can use the scrub-bar, the x4 playback in the player settings or just watch it all unfold in realtime.
